During this period, typically ranging from a few days to a few weeks, you may still be able to renew your domain without any significant repercussions. However, be aware that there might be an additional fee associated with renewing during this grace period.

2. Redemption period: After the grace period expires, the domain enters a redemption period, which lasts anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. During this period, you can still redeem the domain, but it usually incurs a higher fee, often significantly more than the standard renewal fee.

3. Domain auction: If you fail to redeem the domain during the redemption period, it may go to a domain auction. In this case, the domain registrar or a third-party auction platform will sell the domain to the highest bidder.

4. Domain parking or resale: Alternatively, the domain registrar may choose to park the expired domain, displaying advertisements on it to generate revenue. They may also list the domain for resale, allowing potential buyers to make offers on the domain.

5. Domain release: In some cases, if the domain is not renewed or redeemed by any party, it may be released back into the general pool of available domain names. This means that anyone can register the domain if they are interested.
